HYDROSEARCH LENGTH 14MTRS, HT 2.5MTRS. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 37A/77). INS AS WK 20.2MTRS. BR STD. H1310/88/20 7.4.88 DIVED ON 1987. SMALL WK LOCATED BY AID OF MAGNETOMETER. ONLY BOILER, ENGINE AND SCATTERED WRECKAGE, STANDING 3-4MTRS HIGH, REMAINS VISIBLE. PART OF A CANDLE-LIT SEMAPHORE LAMP RECOVERED. WK APPEARS TOO OLD TO BE THE 'CELTIC'. (T W BENNETTO, 9.3.88). HH100/351/04 13.11.91 THIS WK CANNOT BE THE 'CELTIC' [SEE 20509]. MUCH TOO OLD. BROKEN UP. STEAM ENGINE AND BOILER. IRON PROP 4FT DIAMETER. PIECE OF ORDNANCE, POSSIBLY DEPTH CHARGE PRIMER, INSCRIBED 'RN 1917' RECOVERED. FOULED BY TRAWL NET. (T W BENNETTO, 2.11.91).
