LEAST E/S DEPTH 22.8 IN GEN DEPTH 25.8MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 2.5MTRS, LENGTH 55MTRS APPROX. HULL OUTLINE WELL-DEFINED, LYING 100/280DEGS, WITH A FEW PROMINENT HIGH POINTS. POSSIBLY A SV OR EARLY SS. (HMS BEAGLE, HI 74). INS AS WK 22.5MTRS. BR STD. 22.5.01 DIVED IN 5341.292N, 0049.600E [WGD] USING DGPS. NO WK LOCATED, JUST A PILE OF SQUARE STONE BLOCKS, SOME THE SIZE OF A CAR, COVERING AN AREA 50-60 X 20MTRS. NO MAGNETOMETER READING. FLAT SANDY SEABED. (K SMITH, TELECON 22.5.01). NCA. HH100/351/18 6.6.02 DIVED IN 5341.301N, 0049.607E [WGD] USING DGPS. STANDS 2MTRS HIGH BY E/S. A SINGLE PILE OF MAN-MADE CUT STONE BLOCKS FORMING A LONG SHIP-LIKE SHAPE. LENGTH 50-60MTRS, WITH 15-20MTRS. STANDS 2-5MTRS HIGH. NO SCOUR. APPROX SIZE OF BLOCKS FROM 0.5MTR SQUARE TO 2-3MTRS SQUARE. ALL ARE IN ONE PLACE WITH NONE OUTSIDE THIS AREA. SEABED SAND. (K SMITH). PRESUMED CARGO REMAINING FROM WOODEN SV. AMEND TO OBSTN 22.5MTRS IN REVISED POSN. BR STD. 2.3.15 LOCATED IN 5341.281N, 0049.596E [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 23.5MTRS.
