Cause: Built as a fleet minesweeper in 1934 by j crown & sons. 3-drum boilers, compound expansion engines of 1770 ihp for 16.5 knots. two 4 inch guns, 9 machine guns. bombed by german a/c and sunk during evacuation of bef from dunkirk. was carrying between 250 and 300 troops in addition to her crew and most were lost. (dods).
