Cause: Vessel built 1935 by thornycroft & co ltd. turbine engines. three drum boilers. torpedoed by german e-boat near kwinte buoy, whilst attempting to pick up survivors from hms wakeful, which also had been torpedoed, during the evacuation of allied troops from dunkirk. (dods & r verpoorte).
