Cause: Built in 1930 by greenock dockyard co. owned at time of loss by clan line. triple expansion engine and lp turbines of 719 nhp for 13 knots. bombed and sunk by german aircraft while acting as auxiliary transport during evacuation of b e f from dunkirk. 18 men lost. (dods).
