Cause: built in 1925 by chantiers de france, dunkirk. turbine engines of 33000 ihp for 33 knots. four 5.1 inch, two 37mm guns, 6 torpedo tubes. mined. during dunkirk evacuation. 56 men lost. (dods).

- NM 2245/65. 23.4.74 SHOWN AS DW ON NETH 1035. NCA. 15.2.85 LEAST E/S DEPTH 12.4 IN GEN DEPTH 18MTRS IN 511500N, 023308E [EUR]. (FR WK RECORD 2162215). H1310/85/8 15.2.85 DIVED ON 28.7.84. VERY BROKEN UP AND NOT EASY TO IDENTIFY. DURING A SECOND DIVE DURING NOVEMBER SOME FRENCH AMMUNITION WAS FOUND AND SO THIS WK IS THOUGHT PROBABLY TO BE THE FRENCH DESTROYER BOURRASQUE. IT IS APPARENTLY LYING UPSIDE DOWN AND IS ALMOST COMPLETELY BURIED IN A SANDBANK. (J COULON, 25.1.85). H1310/88/18 8.8.88 CONFIRMED AS WK OF BOURRASQUE - 130MM SHELL CASES AND VARIOUS OTHER FRENCH ITEMS FOUND. (J COULON, 15.3.88). HH342/350/01 14.3.89 NOW SW 13.2MTRS IN 511500N, 023306E [EUR]. (OSTEND NM 60/89). BR STD. SEP 2010/000138707 18.10.10 SHOWN AS SW 13.1MTRS [LAT] IN 5114.950N, 0233.021E [WGD] ON BELGIAN 102 [NE 1.6.10, 1:60,000].
