Cause: Built in 1922 by j c tecklenborg ag. owned at time of loss by deutsche dampfs ges hansa. triple expansion engine & lp steam turbine for 608nhp. had previously been captured by the french and re-named sainte louise, but had been repossesed by germany after the fall of france. sunk by british mtbs. (dods).
