Cause: Built in 1897 by clydebank engineering & sb co. owned at time of loss by p & a campbell. compound engines of 273nhp for 18.3kts. requisitioned for use as auxiliary minesweeper. sank following an attack by german aircraft during operation 'dynamo'. (ww2sl, r verpoorte & dods).
