Cause: 29.9.42 had been damaged by submarine torpedo on 29.9.42 and towed to st john's nf for temporary repairs. presumably, upon resumption of passage vancouver for loch ewe was sucessfully torpedoed and sank. (lloyds war losses ww2 & ww2 br msl).
