STANDS 22 TO 42FT HIGH AND LIES 085/265 DEGS. LENGTH 270 - 340FT. MAY BE TWO WKS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY. (CINC PORTSMOUTH, 24.7.51). AMEND TO NDW. 3.3.60 SONAR CONTACT, WK, IN 500930N, 020330W, APPROX. (AUBD 304/142). 9.8.78 AMEND TO USC 33MTRS. NE 2454.. 18.1.80 SHOWN AS NDWPA ON FRENCH 878 [DEC '79]. NCA. HH100/351/05 23.1.92 DEFINITE WK LOCATED IN 500914.5N, 020317W USING E/S AND MAGNETOMETER. COULD BE WK OF DALLAS CITY. (D G WOODHAMS). HH090/533/01 24.2.92 WK EXAM'D 26.11.91 IN 500914N, 020326.5W [WGD] USING HYPERFIX. LEAST E/S DEPTH 52.3 IN GEN DEPTH 58MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 5.9MTRS, LENGTH 65MTRS. LIES 120/300 DEG WITH HIGH POINT AT SE END. A LARGE MAGNETIC ANOMALY WAS OBSERVED. LARGE AND FAIRLY INTACT. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 533). AMEND TO WK 52MTRS.

WK HAS DUTCH FITTINGS MARKED 'DELS CIE NV HAN ROTTERDAM' AND DUTCH CROCKERY MARKED 'VAN ZWANENBURG ROTTERDAM'. (N R CHIPCHASE). HH100/351/12 20.9.96 REPORTED THAT BUILDER'S PLATE HAS BEEN RECOVERED CONFIRMING VESSEL AS 'DEUCALION'. (N R CHIPCHASE).
