Cause: ex-maristow. built in 1894 by sir raylton dixon & co, middlesbrough. owned at time of loss by cia nav vascongada, bilbao. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 224 nhp, single shaft. passage antwerp for bilbao. dragged anchor in nw force 9 and went onto the breadwater rocks. next day slid off and sank. master lost. (sibi).
