Cause: ex-maristow. built in 1894 by sir raylton dixon & co, middlesbrough. owned at time of loss by cia nav vascongada, bilbao. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 224 nhp, single shaft. passage antwerp for bilbao. dragged anchor in nw force 9 and went onto the breadwater rocks. next day slid off and sank. master lost. (sibi).

IRON PROP STILL PRESENT. STANDS APPROX 5MTRS ABOVE SEABED. WK OF A PONTOON LIES ALONG PORT SIDE. H5249/76 10.12.80 NAME CONFIRMED AS 'ENECURI' FROM LOCALS. (W E BUTLAND, DTD 26.11.80). H5249/76 29.4.81 DIVED ON 5.4.81. APPARENTLY BROKEN IN TWO. BOW STANDS APPROX 20FT HIGH IN DEPTH 40-60FT, HEADING S AND ABOUT 50FT OUT FROM B'WATER.
