Cause: Built in 1924 by osbourne, graham & co ltd, sunderland. owned at time of loss by joseph consantine ss line ltd. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 131hp, single shaft. passage leith for london. sank following a collision in thick fog with ss burma.

DCS3 HT 5MTRS, LENGTH APPROX 45MTRS. LYING 070/250 DEGS. APPARENTLY IN ONE PIECE, WITH HIGHEST PT AMIDSHIPS. (HMS BEAGLE, HI 74).
