Cause: built in 1942 by fairfield sb co ltd as the 'hunt' class destroyer hms haldon. transferred to the free french forces in 12.1942. 3-drum boilers, turbine engines for 27.5kts. four 4 inch guns in two twin mounts, quadruple 2 pounder mounting aft of funnel and single mounting in the bow, six 20mm aa oerlikons in three twin mounts. twin 21 inch torpedo tubes. four depth charge throwers & two depth charge ramps. mined and broke in two. 60 men lost. (sibi, warship losses of ww1 & j zang).
