Cause: Built in 1930 by napier & miller ltd, galsgow. owned at time of loss by new egypt & levant shipping co ltd. three boilers, triple expansion engine of 418hp, single shaft. machinery by j g kinkaid & co ltd, greenock. passage london for new york. cargo 2150 tons general. bombed and sunk by german aircraft. later dispersed.
