Cause: 9.2.88 ran onto two mines & broke in two off dunkirk & sank 1.56m sw of bergues banc buoy. 93 killed survivors landed at le havre. was preparing to assist escape of gneisenau, scharnhorst & prins eugen. (r verpoorte 9.2.88).
