Cause: built in 1892 of steel by r duncan & co ltd. owned at time of loss by w thompson & co. sank while under tow of s tug sarah jolliffe to liverpool to finish fitting out. was seen to capsize in a squall. was manned mostly by riggers and there were no survivors.
