H4466/81 29.2.84 EXAM'D 29.6.83 IN 533603N, 053022W [OGB] USING HIFIX/6 [2 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 105 IN GEN DEPTH 108MTRS. SCOUR DEPTH 1.5MTRS. DCS3 HT 3MTRS, LENGTH 33MTRS, BEAM 7MTRS. INTACT, BUT NO MAST VISIBLE AND APPARENTLY DEBRIS EITHER SIDE. ORIENTATION N/S. (HMS FOX, HI 95). [WGD] POSN: 5336.044N, 0530.455W. EVIDENCE POINTS THIS WRECK LIKELY TO BE "PEACEFUL STAR". THE WK IS SMALL ENOUGH TO BE 94GTR, BROADLY CORRECT AREA. THE WK IS TOO SMALL TO BE MARQUIS. (INNES MCCARTNEY BOOK "ECHOES FROM THE DEEP").
