DCS3 HT 4.5MTRS, LENGTH 56MTRS, BEAM 10MTRS. INTACT WITH NO OBVIOUS HIGH POINTS. PROBABLY LYING ON ITS SIDE. ORIENTATED NE/SW. (HMS FOX, HI 95). NFA. [WGD] POSN: 5328.369N, 0524.683W. BA 44. 22.2.23 WRECK SURVEYED 15/5/2019: MBES DATA SHOWS COLLAPSED TRAWLER OR SMALL COASTER WITH POSSIBLY MOTOR SHOWING AT THE STERN, LENGTH 44MTRS, WIDTH 9.6MTRS. THE WRECK IS CONSISTENT IN LENGTH BUT LOOKS WIDER WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO MEASURE DUE TO CARGO SPILLING OUT OF THE WRECK. POSN, DIMENSIONALLY AND ARCHIVALLY THE WRECK IS CONSIDERED MOST LIKELY TO BE "THE MARQUIS". (INNES MCCARTNEY BOOK "ECHOES FROM THE DEEP"). UPDATE "THE MARQUIS" AND ATTRIBUTES.
