Cause: built of steel in 1973 by p lindenau, kiel. owned at time of loss by partenreederie mc 'sioux'. eight cylinder oil engine. single shaft. sprang a leak and sank in rough seas.

LEAST E/S DEPTH 12.2 IN GEN DEPTH 21MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 7.4MTRS, LENGTH 12MTRS. LYING 130/310 DEG. GIVES GOOD SONAR RETURNS. (HMS BEAGLE, HI 74).

- NM 910/83. HH100/351/05 12.6.92 DIVED ON. SMALL DIESEL-POWERED TRAWLER WITH KEYS STILL IN IGNITION. LIES ON KEEL, VIRTUALLY INTACT. DIMENSIONS AND STATE OF PRESERVATION INDICATE THAT THIS COULD WELL BE 'SIOUX'. (R J COLLINSON, 8.6.92).
