Cause: ex-paull gate '66. built in 1961 by j r hepworth & co, hull. owned at time of loss by the light shipping co ltd. 6 cylinder oil engine. machinery aft by lister, blackstone marine ltd, durley. passage runcorn for carrickfergus. capsized and sank quickly when cargo shifted in heavy seas. of crew of 4, 2 recovered and 2 lost. (sibi).

LEAST E/S DEPTH 63 IN GEN DEPTH 75MTRS. FOUND WHEN INVESTIGATING A REPD FISHERMAN'S FASTENER DESCRIBED AS A RECENTLY SUNK TRAWLER. ASSUMED IT TO BE WK OF MOONLIGHT. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 51/74).
