Cause: built in 1912 by vickers, barrow-in-furness. diesel engines of 1200hp for 16 knots, motors of 1200hp for 9 knots submerged. 3 x 18 inch torpedo tubes (2 bow, 1 stern). 1 small gun. complement 25. torpedoed by u 73. (k heath & warships of ww1).

THOUGHT THAT THE LEAST E/S DEPTH OF 36MTRS IS A FISH ECHO AND NOT THE WK. CHART AS WK 36MTRS. HH100/351/08 13.7.94 HH100/351/08 13.7.94 NOT FOUND. (MARINE SALVAGE SERVICES, FAX DTD 11.7.94). NCA. 8.10.04 8.10.04 HAS BEEN DIVED IN LISTED POSN. THIS IS A SUBMARINE WITH THE TOWER LYING TO ONE SIDE. PROBABLY TORPEDOED MIDSHIPS. PROBABLY HMSM D6, TORPEDOED BY U 73. (K HEATH, TELECON).
