Cause: built in 1895 by harland & wolff. owned at time of loss by pacific steam navigation co. triple-expansion engines of 586 nhp. torpedoed & sunk by u-21. passage liverpool for philadelphia. six men lost, captain among survivors. (dods, krieg zur see, ll ww1).
