Cause: built in 1943/44 by bremer vulkan, vegesack.two oil engines for 2800bhpf ro 17 knots surfaced, two motors of 750shp for 7.5 knots dived. one 3.5 inch, one 37mm and two 220 guns. five 21 inch torpedo tubes. 14 torpedoes of mines. schnorkel fitted. surrendered bergen 5.1945 and sunk in operation deadlight. (german submarines, lenton).
