VESSEL DESCRIBED AS BEING BURNED TO GUNWHALES BEFORE SINKING, HOWEVER VESSEL WAS FITTED WITH ALUMINIMUM WHALEBACK AND 35 FOOT STEEL MAST FITTED THROUGH THIS AND SECURED TO THE KEEL. WHALEBACK AND MAST WERE INTACT WHEN THE VESSEL SANK. WK APPEARS TO BE UPRIGHT WITH MAST INTACT. (TRINITY HOUSE WK REPORT).
