Recreation area the Twiske located ten north of Amsterdam between Den Ilp, Landsmeer en Oostzaan. It consists of various lakes, ditches, meadows and bushes and is surrounded by a dike with bicycle and footpath. The Schoorlstrand at the Stootersplas is a of the seven officialële swimming locations in the area.
