Length 128 meter, width: 16.6 meter, draught: 9.8, tonnage 5989 ton
Load: oil

Cause: built 1914 by swan, hunter & wigham richardson, newcastle upon tyne. owned at time of loss by lobitos oilfields ltd. three boilers, triple expansion engine of 513 nhp, single shaft. passage port arthur for dartmouth. torpedoed by u-24. 2 of 35 crew lost. (sii). 28.12.1915 torpedoed near old head of kinsale on 28.12.1915. taken in tow next day but tow parted and vessel was washed ashore at man o' war cove, where she later broke in two. (shipwrecks of the irish coast vol.1 1994 edn).

NC 2049. 19.9.94 WAS TAKEN IN TOW, BUT TOW PARTED ON 29.12.1915. VESSEL WASHED ASHORE IN MAN O' WAR COVE [5143.2N, 0820.2W] AND SHORTLY AFTERWARDS BROKE IN TWO. COPPER AND BRASS RECOVERED AND LATER THE STEEL. (SHIPWRECKS OF THE IRISH COAST, 1994 EDN). DELETE WK USC PA 65MTRS IN 5126.333N, 0831.917W, AND AMEND TO LIVE UNCHARTED RECORD POSN 5143.2N, 0820.2W. NCA. NE 1765.
