Load: personnel

Cause: built 1883 by c connell & co. glasgow, with 3 cylinder compound engine of 900hp, 3 boilers, single shaft. machinery by j & j thomson, glasgow. owned at time of loss by inman & international ss co. passage new york for liverpool. ran aground in fog at ringcurteen, the old head of kinsale. 3 days after grounding vessel listed to seaward and broke up rapidly. 155 crew & 360 passengers rescued. (sii & shipwrecks of the irish coast). [both books show photos of vessel on the rocks]
