Length 85.3 meter, width: 12.2 meter, draught: 5.8, tonnage 1966 ton

Cause: wrecked on grune aux dardes, jersey. danish ship under control of germans after occupation of denmark. built in 1914 by w grey & co. owned at time of loss by a p moller. triple expansion engines for 188 nhp.

Details measurements/cartography: H4647/68 8.10.69 FOUND ON TOP OF AN OLD SHIP ('LA DETERMINEE', 1793) AND WITH THE WK OF A TUG. BOILER DRIES 3FT. THE TUG MAY BE THE 'KILLURIN' REPORTED IN 490910N, 020950W. (PLYMOUTH DIVING TEAM). TUG LATER CONFIRMED AS 'KILLURIN'. SEE [23163]. H1271/71 7.11.71 'ARNOLD MAERSK', 'KILLURIN' AND 'LA DETERMINEE' REPORTED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. (CHANNEL ISLAND SALVAGE CO). H5055/75 12.11.75 FIXED IN 490915N, 020908W BY TRANSIT MARKS AND DECCA. STERN SECTION COMPLETELY BROKEN UP. LARGE HULL PLATES LYING FLAT ON SEA BED. MIDSHIPS SECTION OF WRECK/ENGINE ROOM/BOILER ROOM PIECES LYING IN GULLIES ON SIDES AND TOP OF REEF. BOW SECTION AND FORWARD HOLD LYING AT 90DEGS TO REMAINDER OF WRECK ON NORTH SIDE HAVING APPEARED TO HAVE SLID DOWN THE REEF FACE. DIVERS REPORT LITTLE DAMAGE TO THIS SECTION. LOWER PART OF HOLD MAY CONTAIN UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE. DEPTH OF WATER 7FMS. 3 X 25LB LIVE HE SHELLS REMOVED AND DISPOSED. SEA BED HAS LARGE JAGGED ROCK REEF WITH KELP OUTCROPS. VISIBILITY AT TIME OF DIVE WAS 5MTRS. (REPORT FROM LT CDR W LAMPARD, PLYMOUTH COMMAND CDT, DTD 3.11.75). BR STD. 11.5.99 INS AS FOUL. BR STD. SEP 2016/000069769 24.3.17 EXAM'D BY BDC; IN 4909.207N, 0209.204W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 0.11MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 4MTRS. LENGTH 44.09MTRS, WIDTH 14.02MTRS, HEIGHT 3.82MTRS, ORIENTATION 030/210 DEGS. TWO LARGE CYLINDRICAL OBJECTS SAT TOGETHER, WITH DEBRIS CLOSE BY CONSISTING OF LARGE FLAT SECTIONS, POSSIBLE PIECES OF HULL/SUPERSTRUCTURE, WITH ANOTHER LARGE FLAT OBJECT 16MTRS SSW OF CYLINDERS. NFS. (HMSML GLEANER, SNT 01/16). AMEND FOUL 0.1MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
