This bathing water location is classified in the water quality class “bad” and has therefore a permanent negative swimming advice. This class is determined on the basis of bacteriological research over a period of four years in the classification, “excellent”, “good”, “acceptable” or “bad”. This says something about the chance of getting of skin-, stomach- or intestinal complaints. At "bad" is the chance greater than "excellent". This NOT ABOUT the current quality of the water. If something there is to the hand is, that above and ter place indicated. ------------------------------- Het recreation area It Twiske lies ten north of Amsterdam between Den Ilp, Landsmeer en Oostzaan. Het consists of diverse lakes, ditches, meadows and bushes and is surrounded by a dike with bicycle and walking path. Speelsloot, aan de Slotersplas, is a of the seven officialële swimming locations in the area.
