The bathing water location Warder, between Hoorn and Edam, is a natural swimming pool at the Markermeer that is run by volunteers. The pool has spacious sunbathing areas and it has on the grounds a extra, special for small children landscaped, swimming pool. The banks of the natural pool existence mainly of boulders, that ne are for the firmness of the banks, and washed shells. The bottom of the natural pool consists mainly of sand and shells.
