The beach Staversekade is located in the municipality Urk at the Westhaven. Er lag here of nature always al a narrow strip sand, shaped in the lee behind the jet, but the beach is in later years ten need of the recreation considerably enlarged. The beach is reachable via two entrances in the quay wall.

In this case it concerns the intestinal bacteria Escherichia coli (E.coli) and intestinal enterococci, which occur in the feces of both animals and humans. A suddenly high value is often related to bird droppings in the water, for example, but can certainly also have other causes. It is unwise to swim in water where these values exceed the standards.
