The Spijkvijver lies middle in the Spijkbos in Flevoland, circa 5 km ten east of Biddinghuizen, near the Veluwemeer and Walibi world. The pond consists of two puddles which via a narrowing with each other in connection standing. The surface of the both lakes together amounts to more than 3 hectares and the water-depth is approximately 1,5 metres. The swimming beach is located on the western lake and has also a large sunbathing area.
