The Ellerstrand consists predominantly of bay-shaped beaches, from each other separated by reeds, bushes and breakwaters. On the beach are trees and thickets present. The beach is in twoën shared (in Ellerstrand North and South) by a marina with a ‘chalet park’ and a restaurant (together ‘de Klink’ named). Beach North consists almost entirely out sand beach, beach South is also vegetated with grass. The width of the beach varies from approximately 20 to 45 meters.
