The Haarrijnseplas is located between Vleuten and the area Haarrijn, ten east of the Maarssenseweg, near the northpoint of the Leidsche Rhine Park. In the protected part on the north bank of the east-lake can men safe swimming. There is a sandy beach with playful dunes and a lying and playground with sports and playthings play facilities.
