ONE BOILER, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE, BOTH OF WHICH ARE MOSTLY DECKED OVER. THE LARGE WINCH FWD OF THE WHEELHOUSE HAS A NET ATTACHED TO IT RUNNING OVER TO STBD. THE MAST HAS FALLED TO THE STBD SIDE AND IS NOW LYING ON THE SEABED. ON THE PORT SIDE OF THE ENGINE ROOM IS A 2-3MTR HOLE AND DAMAGE WITHIN, STRONG EVIDENCE OF SHELL DAMAGE AND THE PROBABLE CAUSE OF SINKING. (A C JACKSON). NCA.
