HH090/554/01 2.2.93 HH090/554/01 2.2.93 INTACT WK EXAM'D 20.9.92 IN 544011.6N, 000015.7E [OGB] USING RANGE/RANGE HYPERFIX. LEAST E/S DEPTH 62.7 IN GEN DEPTH 67MTRS. SCOUR DEPTH 68MTRS. DCS3 HT 4.0MTRS, LENGTH 32MTRS, WIDTH 10MTRS. LIES UPRIGHT AT FOOT OF AN INCLINE WHICH RISES SLOWLY TO THE SW. ORIENTATED 140/320 DEG. SEPARATE WRECKAGE WITH LEAST DEPTH 67.2MTRS LIES 50MTRS NW OF MAIN WK AND MAY BE CONNECTED TO IT BY A CABLE OR CHAIN. GOOD MAGNETOMETER RESPONSE. (NP 1008, HI 554). BR STD. 27.8.08 27.8.08 THIS A FAIRLY INTACT WK OF A STEAM TRAWLER, SITTING PROUD OF UPRIGHT ON A HARD SEABED. A LOT OF DECKING IS STILL IN PLACE, WHERE IT IS OPEN SILT HALF FILLS THE AREAS. ONE BOILER, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE, BOTH OF WHICH ARE MOSTLY DECKED OVER. THE LARGE WINCH FWD OF THE WHEELHOUSE HAS A NET ATTACHED TO IT RUNNING OVER TO STBD. THE MAST HAS FALLED TO THE STBD SIDE AND IS NOW LYING ON THE SEABED. ON THE PORT SIDE OF THE ENGINE ROOM IS A 2-3MTR HOLE AND DAMAGE WITHIN, STRONG EVIDENCE OF SHELL DAMAGE AND THE PROBABLE CAUSE OF SINKING. (A C JACKSON). NCA.
