Cause: Vessel, built 1916 by blohm & voss, hamburg, with oil engines of 1100hp. sunk in mine-nets off flamborough head. all 34 crew lost. (warships of ww1, wrecksite.eu)location ? sank off bridlingtonub-75 was in the german imperial navy during world war i. on 10 dec 1917, she was lost after hitting a mine, 34 lives were lost.

HH100/351/20 11.8.03 REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN LOCATED BY DIVERS, AT FIRST BELIEVED TO BE EITHER UB 41 OR UB 75, HOWEVER UB 41 HAD ONLY 2 BOW TUBES AND WAS 30MTRS LONG. WK HAS 4 BOW TUBES 2 EACH SIDE, ONE ABOVE THE OTHER. LENGTH APPROX 50MTRS, PART OF VESSEL MISSING. DECK GUN FACES UPWARDS AND THERE ARE SHELLS LYING EVERYWHERE. CONNING TOWER IN PLACE, AND JUST AFT IS A HATCH THE REST OF THE VESSEL IS MISSING AFT OF THE HATCH. LYING WITH ABOUT 15DEG LIST TO PORT. GEN DEPTH 60MTRS AT LW. (R YOUNG, E-MAIL DTD 11.8.03) NCA.
