HAWSER APPEARS TO BE LYING N/S AND CAUSED TOWED PLOUGH CABLE TO BREAK, EXPOSING TELEPHONE CABLE FOR APPROX 500MTRS EITHER SIDE OF POSN. HAWSER PROBABLY EXTENDS A GREATER DISTANCE AWAY FROM POSN AND MAY CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO TOWED NETS. (KINGFISHER NOTICE TO FISHERMEN DTD 17.12.98 & P CHEW/P SYMONS, CABLE AND WIRELESS, TELECON 28.1.99). KINGFISHER NOTICE GAVE LONGITUDE AS 1E CORRECTED TO 3E AS RESULT OF TELECON. INS AS FOUL PA.
