Bolsward is a junction of waterways and is connected to Makkum, Workum, Hindeloopen and also Leeuwarden via the water. On the Krúswetter and at Gysbert Japicxlaan there are sanitary units with showers and toilets. There is a unit with a washing machine and a dryer on the Gleibakkerij. The access passes for these units are provided by the harbor master or the bridge keeper (Blauwpoortsbrug). Fuel and oil are available at the pumping station on the Steambootkade. You can also reduce water and release waste water here.
