If the storm barrier is closed, the lock and the bridge are operated day and night, except for the morning (06:45 - 09:00) and evening press (15:30 - 18:30) for the bridge.
The bridge may be operated up to an average wind speed (measured over 10 minutes) of 10.7 m/s (indicative to 5 Bft).
In the event of an emergency on the road or on the water, or in the event of special events, deviation from the operating times mentioned above may be possible.
Coordination will then take place between the Dordrecht Regional Traffic Centre (mariphone channel VHF 71) and the operation of the Algerabrug/sluis (mariphone channel VHF 22).
