Ten north of the municipality Stede Broec is the nature and recreation area the Streekbos. The recreation area consists for a large part of forest. In the area lie many ditches and canals. The swimminglake is in the southwest part of the forest. Along the swimmingwater is a sandy beach constructed. Here are the most facilities.
