The beach of Camperduin is located on the North Sea, between the national park the Schoorlse Dunes in the southeast and bird sanctuary The Putten in the northeast. There are two entrances, close against the Hondsbossche seawall on. There is a restaurant and during the season is there a pavilion on the beach.

The water quality measurement is based on the amount of bacteria in nanograms per deciliter (n /dl). In this case it concerns the intestinal bacteria Escherichia coli (E.coli) and intestinal enterococci, which occur in the feces of both animals and humans.
