The terrain around lake is grotendeel hemmed by a wooded bank. On the southside is the recreational bounded by de camping and on the westside is the parking. The Ronostrand located in rural area. The environment of the lake and the recreation park is mainly in Agricultural Use.

The water quality measurement is based on the amount of bacteria in nanograms per deciliter (n /dl).
