The swimming location is located in the recreation park Ronostrand te E in the municipality Noordenveld. De plas is in 1966 dug with as objective swimming lake. The terrain around lake is grotendeel hemmed by a wooded bank. On the southside is the recreational bounded by de camping and on the westside is the parking. The Ronostrand located in rural area. The water quality measurement is based on the amount of bacteria in nanograms per deciliter (n /dl). In this case it concerns the intestinal bacteria Escherichia coli (E.coli) and intestinal enterococci, which occur in the feces of both animals and humans.
