The bathing beach of Perkpolder is located on the southern bank of the Westerschelde, with in the east the oude ferry and in the west a long breakwater. On the southside of the beach runs the Zeedijk. It concerns a saltwater location which under influence is of the tide. During hightide is the beach completely flooded.
