Recreational lake het Lageveld is in twee fasen constructed: de surfvijver is originated by de sand dredger which used became at sand extraction. De rest van de plas, de swimming pond en toddler pond, is excavated. The Lageveld is if swimmingplas opened in  1985. The total water surface van de recreation lake beamounts 6,5 hectares.  The water depth in de surfpond is 8 tot 10 meter, dit is de original sand water. The swimming area is maximum 1,80 meter deep and in the special for children  furnished part is de waterdepth maximum 0,8 mter. Recently is a second connection (breakthrough) created of dit toddler to de de big swim? en% A0surfplas.
