Due to a unsafe situation due to the presence of concrete blocks under water for the coastline at Egmond Binnen, t.h.v. beach pavilion 't Zilverzand, it's discouraged to swim over a distance of 50 meters. Het beach Egmond aan Zee has a number large entrances: Beach North, Beach South and here in-between the main entrance. In addition are there more 3 smaller entrances.
