The recreational lake is located on the eponymous campsite: „Hub Holiday parks Drentse Weelde? who also is manager of the lake. The lake is entirely surrounded by a sandy beach that variërend is from 1 to 5 meters width. The water quality measurement is based on the amount of bacteria in nanograms per deciliter (n /dl).
