The swimming water De Woudfennen lies on a closed pond called the Put van Nederhorst, near Joure in the municipality De Fryske Marren. It is a old sand pit. The swimming water is part of a day recreational ground. Ten south of the site located the bungalow park / marina the Woudfennen. The Langwarder Wheels lie in the northwest.
