Cause: Built 1906 by blohm & voss with triple expansion engines & durr boilers, capable of 19,000 ihp & 21.4 knots. ran into minefield on returning to base from a bombardment of gorleston & yarmouth, & sank with great loss of life, about 300 of crew of 557 were lost. (dods)
