Cause: 27.2.1892 built of iron in 1877 by palmers co, newcastle. 466 tons gross, 732 tons net, 669 tons under deck. owned at time of loss by d morgan, liverpool (lr), by t jack jr, larne, co antrim (bot - wk & casualty returns 1891-1892). compound expansion engine of 98nhp, single shaft. single iron deck, four bulkheads. a1 at lloyds. passage cardiff for dieppe. cargo coal. not heard of after sailing on 27.2.1892. 13 men lost. (receiver of wk).
