Cause: built by smith's dock in 1917. a castle-class trawler. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 61 nhp, single shaft. sold in 1920 with same name. hired for minesweeping duties 6.1940 - 11.1945. steering gear jammed and vessel struck rocks when entering loch foyle. floated off but listed violently to port and sank by the head. owned at time of loss by j marr & son, fleetwood.
